World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The feature of upgrading items lets players upgrade their existing equipment. This can be accomplished by any upgrader for items NPC.

To upgrade a weapon you'll need to have an upgrade component ready and the item itself. The weapon should be at or near an appropriate level to upgrade it. Most weapons only be upgraded by one upgrade.

Two NPCs can enhance your weapon: Blacksmith Hewg, in the Roundtable Hold hub zone and the Smithing Master Iji, in the Road to Manor hub zone. Both of these NPCs accept your Smithing Stones or Runes to upgrade your weapon.
Prioritize upgrading your best-in slot items first. Then upgrade those that you aren't likely to replace anytime soon. If you're planning on playing an asymmetrical build, for instance, upgrade your weapon first, then your chest and shoulders, then your feet and hands. The same principle goes for Magic and Utility Items, with the caveat that some procs may be better than others depending on your playstyle. The same goes for Armour and reforges, with some being superior to others.
Magic Items
A character is able to upgrade only one item of magic. If an upgrade plan has been cancelled, no more upgrades will be planned for the item. Magic items that are upgraded will cost twice the amount of gold it would cost to create or purchase, but they can also provide additional benefits.
A magical item is any item that has some special properties or effects. These are typically weapons, but they can also be shields, armors, cloaks and potions. They can also be scrolls, rings or other items. Some of these items may be made sentient.
Most magic items can have their abilities enhanced. This could make them more beneficial to players or aid them to overcome a difficult situation. A weapon that is infused can provide bonus damage against a particular enemy type, for example. This is particularly beneficial for characters that have reached a stage at which they'll likely encounter the same type of monster in dungeons repeatedly.
A ring infused with magic may provide immunity to nonmagical attacks that bludgeon, pierce, or cut (excluding silver-based attacks) until the character gets another long rest. This is particularly useful for melee martial characters or any person who wishes to avoid buying a shield.
Certain items with enchanted properties have special abilities that let the character cast spells in addition to the ones on their class's list of spells. item upgrader is helpful for characters who have trouble filling their spell slots because of multiclassing. These magical objects require an Intelligence check (Arcana), and the spell is determined by rolling a table based upon the amount of Intelligence points expended.
Other enchanted objects might allow the player's appearance to be altered or create a brand new one. These items are particularly useful for characters that are forced to leave their home, or are in a location where they may not be welcomed. A magical item can grant them invisibility or make them invisible for everyone except the chosen person.
Utility Items
Utility items are equipment which isn't part of the categories of Clothing or Armor and are able to perform a variety of capabilities. Unlike Armor and Weapons and Clothing, no utility item is able to be in conflict with another. Most utility items have a passive effect which players can activate by using them. However, some of them have additional abilities that can be activated by pressing a button or triggering the skill.
The Flashlight is the most commonly used utility item. It lights up the area around it. Other utilities include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow the player to float in the air while they move, and the Jetpack, which allows the player to accelerate in any direction while on the ground. Many utility items can be instantly produced in the Engineering section while others can be unlocked through research projects or projects in the Proving Ground.
In addition to the items that are available in the normal inventory, players can also obtain some more powerful utility items by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop and also from seasonal Scoreboard rewards (such as the Shadow Goggles). Some of these items can be upgraded for more effective use.
The majority of utility items give the player a navigational advantage or increase a specific combat ability. Sharpening stones, made by a Weaponsmith, increase Power and Ferocity, while Maintenance Oils, created by a Huntsman can increase concentration and healing power. Other items of utility, such as Writs and Theses created by the Scribe, can be used to give players either an increase in damage or condition damage.
All XCOM soldiers are capable of equipping one utility item at the beginning of the campaign. Later, an additional slot can be obtained by equipping certain types of armor or completing engineering research or other projects in the Proving Ground. During the Alien Hunters DLC, additional slots are made available by equipping the Grenade Launcher, which allows the player to equip an Smoke Grenade or Bomb in an additional grenade slot while an offensive grenade can be placed in the main grenade slot.
